Thanks for calling out a culture of abuse that we seem to have normalized in most aspects of life in Nigeria. This essay made me think back on the systemic abuse I had to suffer through all in the name of education in ABUAD.

We all need to be as brave as this, and speak our truth when necessary. Staying silent and conforming might look easy, but the scars it leaves behind are never really worth it, last last.
